Video: 25 knots on Shore Racing - Roger Kitchen

December 11th, 2019

Racing at Torbay Sailing Club in 25 knots on shore which provided some interesting waves to negotiate. All the Weta sailors really enjoyed the challenging conditions. Again the self tacking jib performed flawlessly but the skipper has work to do in the agility department.

Video: Sailing = Turning - Tom Kirkman

December 06th, 2019

Perhaps 50% of my sailing has been on a small (850 acre) municipal lake that often requires a sailor to tack or gybe every 1/2 mile, or less. Most 3 hour sailing sessions require over 100 tacks and gybes.

Weta Shonan Championship - Weta Marine Japan

November 11th, 2019

Last Sunday, the first WETA class championship (Shonan Championship) was held with the entry of six boats. Unfortunately, we couldn't do WETA's exciting sailing all day long, but we enjoyed exciting developments where the distance between the boats was short. The prestigious championship was No.
