June 19th, 2015In the shadows of the world's great ocean going liners a gathering took place in Southampton water on 6/7th June of somewhat smaller vessels. The U. K. 's Weta National Championships came to the south coast of England and was hosted by the Weston Sailing Club.
June 18th, 2015A dozen Wetas gathered at Weston Sailing Club in bright sunshine and a fresh breeze for their first ever regatta weekend which was therefore designated 'the Nationals'. The Weta is the world's largest insect and gatherings of the class are referred to as swarms.
