Perhaps 50% of my sailing has been on a small (850 acre) municipal lake that often requires a sailor to tack or gybe every 1/2 mile, or less. Most 3 hour sailing sessions require over 100 tacks and gybes.

Weta Shonan Championship - Weta Marine Japan

先週の日曜日、WETAクラス初の選手権(湘南選手権)が6艇のエントリーのもと開催されました。あいにく一日中微風に終始し、WETAの豪快なセーリングは出来ませんでしたが、艇間の距離が近いエキサイティングな展開を楽しんでいました。栄えある優勝は江の島ヨットハーバーでは1番古参のセイル番号294、赤ハルの藤田、中野組でした。2位は青木、重田組、3位は校條、岩根組となり上位3チームは元FBクラスからの乗換え組で占められたことになりました。
