Firstly a declaration of interest: I own Weta #325 which was built in 2009 and purchased in Australia in 2010. I acquired it in 2013 and have really enjoyed sailing it but I’m aware that it has a few issues due to the age of the boat.

Weta Marine is delighted to announce that the Weta has been chosen as one of the classes for the World Masters Games, to be held in New Zealand in 2017. With more athletes than the Olympics, the World Masters Games is the single biggest multisport event on earth.

I took delivery of my new Weta from Dick this past weekend in Cedar Key and had a chance to take her out for her first sail while there, I am so thrilled with the boat!
