The trip took exactly 10 hours, maybe a 10-15 knot NE would be a more consistent direction. It was a bit touch and go around Hooks Bay with almost nil wind. Anyway, lots of fun chasing down the big boats all day and learnt a bit more.January 18th, 2017
It is my opinion that the biggest mistake people make when double-handing a Weta when downwind reaching, is having one person steer the boat while the other sheets the screecher.
