Tony and Brian sail a Weta 22 miles across the Santa Barbara channel. We're going to make this supported trip an annual thing: the Weta Hardcore Ocean Adventure. WHOA!

If my records are anywhere near accurate, and I’m certain they’re at least very close, as of this afternoon I passed the 1000 hour mark on the Weta. For such a lightly built boat it’s held up very well.

In the shadows of the world's great ocean going liners a gathering took place in Southampton water on 6/7th June of somewhat smaller vessels. The U. K. 's Weta National Championships came to the south coast of England and was hosted by the Weston Sailing Club.

A dozen Wetas gathered at Weston Sailing Club in bright sunshine and a fresh breeze for their first ever regatta weekend which was therefore designated 'the Nationals'. The Weta is the world's largest insect and gatherings of the class are referred to as swarms.

It might have started with Kaze but the Blue Bug certainly pushed the cause along a loooong way! Now this! "I want some stripes" Antonio said. . . we think he got his wish! Can't wait to see it floating! And to keep the art revolution in progress. .
