When it comes to sailing, we are always chasing the wind. At times, the wind ceases to exist or may be insurmountable. 2015 Zhik Weta Nationals became the latter. Cue the insanity! Due to conditions, the majority of this friendly fleet partnered together and sailed two up.September 30th, 2015

Funky Cat-paw winds aside, managed to read the clouds for best wind and take advantage of relatively calm surface conditions. Hit 23. 8 at some point according to the Velocitek Speed Puck. Every September the multihull fleet arrives at the “inland sea” of North Carolina better known as Lake Norman spanning over 520 miles of coastline. Weta racers came from Florida, Georgia and the eastern part of North Carolina for a fun filled weekend at Lake Norman Yacht Club.September 11th, 2015
