I've always wanted to sail my Weta wherever I wanted, and a trailer makes that possible to a large degree. The ability of this boat to explore harbours and coastal areas, accessible by road and a beach or ramp, has spoiled me for choice as far as it goes.

West Coast Weta Happy 10th Anniversary! It was 10 years ago today that our beloved Wetas arrived on the west coast of the US. Ten boats (#148 - #157) arrived via container to Richmond Yacht Club to nine owners that had never seen one or sailed one.

A total of eight Wetas competed in two races at WestonSC on Southampton Water on 2 June 2018.

Four Wetas arrived at Yarra Bay Sailing Club overlooking Botany Bay, the container terminal and the flightpath to Sydney airport. So while it may not be the most attractive location, the water is clean and clear and the breakwater provides a great flat water sailing area.

Saturday had a fresh and gusty Westerlies which made for a good ride on the long race to Inskip point and return (13 miles). Peter Hackett in his new Foam Core boat and Glen cleared out and the rest of us swapped the lead back and forth.
