The first batch of new self tacking jib kits for Weta #1000+ will be ready for shipping in less than 3 weeks. The kits include everything you need to go sailing (hardware/ropes/jib/track).

Racing at Torbay Sailing Club in 25 knots on shore which provided some interesting waves to negotiate. All the Weta sailors really enjoyed the challenging conditions. Again the self tacking jib performed flawlessly but the skipper has work to do in the agility department.

Perhaps 50% of my sailing has been on a small (850 acre) municipal lake that often requires a sailor to tack or gybe every 1/2 mile, or less. Most 3 hour sailing sessions require over 100 tacks and gybes.
